The release of a new unthreadera1n exploit to untethered jailbreak iOS 5.1 was earlier today. A program written for the operating system Linux and allows untethered jailbreak CDMA iPhone 4.
Exploit called UnthreadedJB, after the group of developers, which was engaged in its development. The good news is that the developers want to port their UnthreadedJB jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 / 4, which is much more interesting.
Something happens around Apple. The company has only begun to recover from its Dev Center breach when a new problem appears. This time it is related to iTunes, another Apple product. Its activation servers aren’t working that good and can’t satisfy all the visitors for the couple of hours.
Have you installed one of the iOS 7 betas on your iPhone or iPad? Would you like to jailbreak your iDevice right now without waiting till iOS 7 becomes official and hackers release a jailbreaking utility that hacks it? You probably think you can easily prepare for the jailbreak by downgrading iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.2.
Some users prefer downgrading to iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4 depending on their gadget model but both systems can’t be untethered jailbroken. The only untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 is Evasi0n tool and it supports versions of fruit mobile firmware up to 6.1.2.
Users who downgrade iOS 7 to versions 6.1.3 / 6.1.4 don’t need to have SHSH blobs saved. According to the creators of Evasi0n utility, it is impossible to directly downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.2. These hackers ask all iPhone / iPad users to think before upgrading to the beta mobile operating system launched by Apple this summer and designed for developers and carriers.
The Evad3rs team warns all users with fruit smartphones and tablets, “Fakers buy instructions about downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.2. It’s 100% fake. Don’t believe it. It’s 100% scam.”
Sorry. That’s the information you can trust because these hackers know their job pretty well and if they say you cannot downgrade back to iOS 6.1.2, you can’t. Just keep it in your mind and don’t rely on the sites that assure you it is possible.
Personally I read a couple of opinions from users who say they have managed to jump back from iOS 7 to 6.1.2 with SHSH blobs saved. But they didn’t prove it with the video instruction or screenshots. Words are just words till you see the proof you can trust.
If you really wish to jailbreak your gadget again, just get back to iOS 6.1.4 or 6.1.3 and wait till the official firmware 7 is presented and the new jailbreak is released.
What iPhone plan should you choose, prepaid or postpaid? What are the benefits and drawbacks of these models? Can you really save bunch of money by going prepaid? What will you lose in the end? There are so many questions to answer. We’ll list the reasons to choose prepaid model over contract one and mention the disadvantages of this iPhone service.
You are the one who chooses which way to go. Just keep in mind, that T-Mobile offers you the prepaid iPhone model while Verizon and AT&T locked iPhone still go with the 2-year contract agreement.
Disadvantages of Going with Prepaid iPhone Plan
There are no perfect solutions to any problem. You can’t get a perfect data plan as no matter how great iPhone prepaid sounds it still has its bad sides. For example, you must pay for your cell phone up-front. You can’t get subsidize any part of the cost as it happens with contract plans.
Besides, you can’t just go to any store to buy a prepaid device. There are fewer store locations to choose from and fewer smartphone models to consider buying. Don’t expect to get the same coverage as with contract handsets.
Here is why you might like to consider getting prepaid plan for your iDevice.
Reason 1. Paying in Cash
There is no need to wait till your cell phone bill overdrafts your checking account. Pay with cash for your prepaid plan whenever you need it. You can choose any paying method (check, credit card or cash) once you stop going on with your contract plan.
Reason 2. Pay When You Want It
You do not make phone calls 24/7, right? Sometimes you don’t need to use your phone for a while. There is no need to pay for it in this case if you are on a prepaid plan. Just service when you need it and save your money.
Reason 3. No Credit Checks
You can simply pay your money upfront and being good to go till you spend them all. There is no need to be charged via your credit card each month as it appears with the contract plans.
Reason 4. Easy Upgrades
You are not tied to your contract when you are using a prepaid solution. You are free to change your phone model without pain or your network. You can easily switch between carriers whenever you need it. You can always come back to a contract plan if you are not satisfied with the prepaid one.
Reason 5. Lower Lifetime Cost
This is the top reason for switching from the contract plan to prepaid one. Your gadget’s overall cost will be $600-$1000 less. The thing is when you agree to a 2-year contract you have to pay activation fee, monthly fees and data fees. You just pay less at the very beginning but you lose a big sum over the course of 2 years of staying on a contract. Prepaid phone saves you many bucks.

Find out how to use screen record app on iPhone without jailbreaking. If you’ve ever wanted to record your screen, you would need to jailbreak it and use one of the available screen recording tweaks from Cydia. Non-jailbroken iOS devices didn’t really have any apps to record the screen, until now. A new iOS app called xRec has been released on the App Store, that lets you record your iPhone or iPod Touch’s screen.
Screen recording can come in handy in plenty of situations. For app reviewers, it’s really easy to show and commentate by recording the screen. You can even record gameplay for games and whatever that you’re doing on your iPhone. And you don’t have to be jailbroken to do all of that. Simply download and install xRec on your iPhone and start recording.
xRec, then, is similar in functionality to jailbreak tweaks such as Screen Recorder or Display Recorder. You open the app, click on the record button, press the home button and your screen will start recording. The app’s built-in settings let you choose the orientation, video quality and also records audio using your devices microphone.
Once you’re done with your work, you’ll need to open the app and tap on the stop button. After the encoding is done, you can view the recorded video, save it to your Camera Roll or send to Dropbox, Email, Google Drive etc. Also, for some weird reason, you need an active internet connection for the app, or you’ll just hear a song playing after you tap the Start/Record button.
The app does have its caveats! For example, whenever you start recording, a red status bar appears and is present throughout. That can be a problem for a lot of reviewers. The app currently works on the iPhone and iPod Touch only, but iPad support will be coming soon. Check out this video of the app in action;
So, what do you think of this app? You can download xRec from the App Store for $1.99.
