How to restore iPhone without losing jailbreak is one of the issues that users faced with jailbroken device. That’s why thinking to do jailbreak or not to do many users count all the pros and cons. One of the major drawbacks of jailbreaking process is stability problems can be not so stable especially when Cydia is present. But on the other hand, full functionality improvements could not be disregarded.
With past jailbreaks there was some other issue the inability to restore to default settings on the device. The thing that the majority of us perform each time once in a while as a question of standard protocol. But there is a solution to this problem the SemiRestore tool. It lets to set up factory settings whilst leaving fixed jailbreak completely unaffected.
The majority of users have continued using devices that required a recalibration by using a restore in past times and just simply because I didn’t wish to be still left languishing on stock software package. But with the help of the updated Semi-Restore tool now clean things up without losing the most important means. And now it is available for every user.
Like most launched tools and apps, Semi-Restore tool is compatible with iOS 8 through iOS 8.1, and although it requires OpenSSH. And it is not so hard to get started with using it.
Note that at present time Semi-Restore has only been updated for Windows and Linux.
So, if you have planned to restore your device but have been terrified of losing your current jailbreak, with the new and updated SemiRestore version you will fill safe.
Please be attentive that at present time Apple is still signing iOS 8.1 firmware for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It means that SemiRestore is basically useless right now. But when Apple will stop signing the firmware, then you won’t be able to restore to iOS 8.1, and that’s time when you’ll have to use SemiRestore. So this is the way how to restore iPhone without losing jailbreak. Please look through the following statements before you proceed to Semi-Restore your device:
SemiRestore supports Windows XP SP3 or higher.
SemiRestore supports 32 & 64 Bit Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 or a higher equivalent distro).
Windows users must have iTunes, and .NET 4.0 or higher installed.
Linux users must have libimobiledevice, GTK 3, libusbmuxd-tools, and openssl installed (which should be by default).
Linux users must read the README file
There may be a better way to fix your current problem. For example, to fix “Safe Mode” issues, you can just uninstall Mobile Substrate from Cydia.
Like any other restore, make sure you backup your data if you want it later.
Avoid using your iOS device or anything related to iTunes or XCode during the Semi-Restore. Why not actually go outside?
This process can not and does not repair broken system files! Avoid all Siri Ports, as they are not only illegal (except for Spire on 5.0.1) but they also create problems and may potentially break system files (even Spire can cause this).
Your device will respring or reboot several times during the SemiRestore. This is perfectly normal, so don’t panic.

Since the application can be downloaded on Cydia for free, anyone who is jailbroken can get it and finally get a good and strong connection that won’t drop intermittently. The speeds might not be superior fast but they will also not be too slow as it used to be for some Americans who haven’t installed iOS 8.1.1 because they want to keep their jailbroken status.
Apple’s new firmware iOS 8.1.1 solves WiFi issues for customers who are not jailbroken and can’t jailbreak at the moment because of the lack of such a jailbreaking tool. Pangu iOS 8 jailbreak works on firmware beginning with iOS 8 and ending with iOS 8.1, and this is where you can get WiFi issues and thus might like to get WiFried tweak to fix the bug.
Once you fix iOS 8 WiFi problem on the iPhone you will enjoy this type of connection. This program is meant to boost your Wi-Fi performace by adding an option that makes it possible to turn off AWDL through Control Center which is not available on non-jailbroken gadgets.

Are you a lucky jailbroken iOS 8 iPhone owner who knows about SemiRestore8 tool that allows restoring the smartphone without losing jailbreak? There is one more thing you must do to stay protected. It is important to change iPhone root password.

Users who have the most recent model of Apple smartphones, iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone 6, can have one of the two types of NAND memory. There is memory based on TLC and MLC. Why would anyone need to know what iPhone NAND flash memory he or she has?
According to some users, their Apple handset gets stuck in a boot loop if they have TLC iPhone NAND memory and thus, once you know what type your gadget has, you can be sure that you can be out of trouble or look at one down the road.
There is a way how to check iPhone memory type on both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Knowing about possible issues is always better as you can be prepaired and not waste your nerves. One little thing, only jailbroken users can currently check their NAND memory type. Users who are not jailbroken should just know that possible issues can be faced by TLC based NAN memory devices.
The issue is mostly faced by 128GB and 64GB iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus versions. If you have a different device, you are lucky.
Have you heard about iPhone unlock box? I am curious about different methods that allow users bypass iOS 7 passcode lock feature so I am always in search for new tools that can make it happen painlessly. Googling for passcode lock iPhone remove services I came across the miracle black box which looks interesting though it isn’t that popular yet.
Firstly, I found the website http://mbb.miraclesserver.com/ which doesn’t really explain how the unlock tool works. It just says that this Miracle black Box iPhone passcode unlock method supports iPad devices as well and it looks like it currently supports only iOS 7 gadgets. In other words, if you are already running iOS 8 firmware this is something to remember for possible future use, if the box gets updated and begins supporting the new Apple firmware version.
The site seems to be created by Chinese users and personally I don’t trust new sources at all. If you remember the times when Pangu jailbreak was first released not many users hurried to try it as it was something new and unknown. Well, Pangu team also comes from China and these guys showed that not all new things are scams. They released the iOS 8 jailbreak untether Pangu 8 program and this is just a great opportunity for millions of Apple fans who wished to jailbreak. Maybe the magical Black Box is also an interesting product that will develop into a good tool in the future. Right now this is just a curious tool that looks cool… but will I give it a try?
I still haven’t answered this question myself. I do remember my passcode right now and I don’t have problems with unlocking my iPhone. But what if I forget it one day? I have such days, I must be honest, when I just forget the password… and it takes me a while to recollect it. I never write down my passwords and I probably must, but I’d rather have something like this Miracle Black Box just in case, you know, I will need to remove iOS 8 passcode without restore. I’d like to keep my data on the gadget and don’t want to lose it.
What have I learned about unlock iPhone Miracle Black Box method? If you watch this video you can see how the box works. It seems to be able to read the passcode when the iOS 7 device is disabled and there is no need to guess passcodes as the box finally shows the correct one on its display.
According to developers, their iPhone passcode unlock tool doesn’t require installing any software, additional apps, tools or jailbreaking. It supports iOS 7.x.x versions, but, according to the site, you have to set contract from the first attempt because other attempts will fail [at least, this is how I understand the description].
The company says that their Black Box password remove tool simply brute forces your 4 digit passcode on the iPad or iPhone running any version of iOS 7 firmware. How does it work? You get the box, iPhone or iPad cable and attach your iDevice to the Black Box which displays the code. How long do you have to wait for the code to appear? Developers promise await time from a couple of seconds to a couple of hours. This tool shouldn’t delete your personal data and allows you getting the full access to the smartphone or tablet.
Since I never tried this box in action, you can only use it at your personal risk and better use this passcode lock iPhone remove tool only on your personal smartphone. I just wanted to let you know about this new service.
Do you remember the WireLurker iOS virus users were scared of? Well, Apple said it wasn’t aware of any iPhone or iPad users who suffered from this iOS malware, but the authorities from China report that whoever was suspected behind the virus is now arrested.
It is true that the virus came from China and researches who reported and warned iOS users about WireLurker danger also mentioned its Chinese nature. And now the country assures that local authorities arrested devs behind the program. The site that distributed this iOS malicious app is also no longer available.
As sources mention, three people were suspected and they all are responsible for this malicious tool development and distribution. As to Apple this virus was dangerous because it could theoretically replace App Store applications on the iPhone and other iDevices and get user’s personal data and information, including passwords and emails.
All suspects were arrested on November 14. Their website that was used for infecting users’ devices through Mac downloads is shut down. According to Chinese sites, the website contained over 400 dangerous apps and it did infect a lot of Chinese users with the iPhone and Mac who used the Maiyadi application store with the WireLurker virus.
Apple warns all users to not jailbreak in order to stay protected from unauthorized programs, but not all Chinese users who got affected by the malware iOS apps were jailbroken. You just have to pay attention to sites where you download apps from and remember about trusted sources as it is always better to download Cydia apps and tweaks from trusted developers. Stay safe and protected even if you are jailbroken!
