Recently I've faced with this problem - BigBoss repo missing in my Cydia app. If you're not aware - this source is installed in Cydia by default and should be available right after your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch gets jailbroken. I've mentioned that the repo is missing after  I updated my iPhone to iOS 5.1.1 wanting to jailbreak it with Sn0wbreeze 2.9.5. The process went not that smooth but I was able to get working iOS with Cydia installed. But  when tried to download some basic packages like Spire and Zephyr the connection was constantly failing and all the BigBoss repo packages weren't able for install. BigBoss repo missing What I first did is deleted the BigBoss repo from Sources and tried to add it manually. I've also tried of other methods to get it back but they didn't work as well. There was no possibility for me to re-download the previously bought apps and tweaks from Cydia because they were on BigBoss repo list. You are reading this article probably because you have the common problem with it. When I failed a couple of times I figured out another way to bring the repo back to life.

Here's what to do if the BigBoss repo missing:

Step One: Launch Cydia. Step Two: Make sure that BigBoss is not listed within Manage->Sources. If it's still there but is empty or not working properly - delete it. Step Three: On the main tab and go to More Package Sources. Step Four: The BigBoss repo will be listed there. Tap it and tap OK when Cydia will ask you 'Add Source BigBoss?' Step Five: Wait a while until all the packages are downloading. Step Six: Tap 'Return to Cydia'. Step Seven: Navigate to Manage->Sources to make sure the repo is there. Here's the short video tutorial on how to do that again: That's it! You've got your missing BigBoss repo back. You should be now able to download all the 10k+ packages available in that source.
