The public launch of the latest Apple firmware version is celebrated with its newest feature called Passbook. This program is built-in in the new iPhone 5 and is available to all users who own previous smartphone models and hope to upgrade to iOS 6 in order to enjoy over 200 features added, including this application. Compatible Passbook Apps Besides launching iOS 6 and shipping iPhone 5 this week, Apple has also updated a list of companies that can support Passbook. We will list all compatible Passbook apps in iOS 6 so that you know which programs can store your cards and tickets along with other services all in one place. Once you open Passbook application on iOS 6 you will read that this program is "the simplest way to get all your passes in one place." As for today, Passbook is supported by 7 apps you can find on the App Store. According to Apple, these applications are Lufthansa, Sephora to Go, Live Nation, MLB.com AT Bat, Ticketmaster and Walgreens. The list is short, as you can notice. Actually you can read on the App Store that there are many more Passbook compatible programs. But if you download and install them on your iPhone you will not be able to store their services in your Passbook app as they are currently not supported. Later on they will also be available and you will enjoy storing your codes and tickets from various companies, such as W Hotels, Delta Airlines, Target, Starbucks, and others. Apple’s retail stores should also work together with Passbook. But they do not yet. We are sure that the Cupertino-based company will soon update its Apple Retails program to make it compatible with iOS 6 Passbook app.
