Downgrade iOS 5.1 to iOS 4.3.5 and below

Step 1. Download iPSW of the firmware you want to downgrade t: Download iOS 4.3.5 and below here. Step 2. Now connect your gadget to the Mac or PC and put it into DFU mode using RedSn0w (find Pwned DFU in Extras). Download RedSn0w here (latest version) Step 3. Now you have to edit your hosts file. Go here: Windows => System 32 => driver => etc on Windows and the same on OS X. Save it somewhere and use Notepad to open it. Step 4. On the bottom of the hosts file add this:

Click Restore holding down Alt on Mac or Shift on Windows and find your iPSW which you have downloaded in the first step. Step 6.
