There is news that technology giant IBM banned Siri and iCloud. So if you IBM worker then forget about Siri and iCloud. Good they allow using iPhone. The problem is that Siri sends all you say and ask to the big Apple data center. You can use Siri to make calls, send emails, to create reminders, find something on the wet or even kidding with Siri.

IBM banned siri and icloud

But all this actions are stored on Apple servers and this is not news. Apple company has its iPhone Software License Agreement where you can find information about Siri usage and Apple rights. Look what it  says:
When you use Siri or Dictation, the things you say will be recorded and sent to Apple in order to convert what you say into text.
…and
By using Siri or Dictation, you agree and consent to Apple’s and its subsidiaries’ and agents’ transmission, collection, maintenance, processing, and use of this information, including your voice input and User Data, to provide and improve Siri, Dictation, and other Apple products and services.
As look at Siri she needs that information for better functionality but don’t forget that it keeps all personal and confident information that you might say before. According to IBM CIO Jaenette Horan IBM banned that Siri option. It is very risky for the company and their workers. Also the company surveyed hundreds of employees and saw many people who didn’t know anything about it. It is not weird because IBM is very conservative company and care about security saying this:
It's the nature of our business
But it’s not the end. iCloud got that limitation too because this service also stores all backed up data. And we wrote about iCloud security so read it too. This is not the first time IBM banns services like these two. Earlier the company rejected using Dropbox. This is their own security politics and I think they are right. Also a couple of months ago American Civil Liberties Union warned Apple about Siri. What do you think about this? Leave your thought in the comment section below.
