Right after you install 3D maps on iPhone or other iOS gadget you have to respring SpringBoard or close maps app in Multitasking bar. Step 4. After you perform Step 3 you will see 3D button on your Home Screen so enjoy it. That is it. You can use 3D maps on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch running jailbroken iOS 6 beta 1 but without turn-by-turn directions.
