iOS developers from Europe, Canada and other parts of the world are informed by Apple about app price changes for iPhone and other iDevices. We’ve heard before that the Cupertino-based company has to follow the new EU rules and increase the cost for some European countries but right now it seems that the new iOS app price 2015 list gets not only EU, but also other places. According to reports, the company sent emails to devs from a number of countries about the cost increase for some applications. The changes come to the App Store, and Canada, Norway, Iceland and Russia are on this list. Apple changes prices in Europe and outside the European Union, and the new costs for apps will be available as soon as by the end of this week. Such short changes were expected but will still come as a surprise to a lot of customers. How does the iPhone maker explain this increase in the application price? It says that everything happens because of the exchange rates, local currency rates and value-added tax rates in the countries where the new rules to start working in 2015. It is curious that while the App Store prices in Russia, Canada, Norway and across the EU are going to suddenly grow, they will go down in Iceland. The changes should be applied within 36 hours. We wonder how big the price difference will be on the apps sold within the U.S. and in the regions mentioned above. What do you think about this?
