One of the major roles can get Natalie Portman in Steve Jobs biopic. Deadline reports that famous movie star is in talks to join the cast of Universal's Steve Jobs biopic. Natalie Portman has starred in roles in different films including V for Vendetta, Marvel’s recent Thor movies ,and Black Swan. Character details were not revealed, but it is expected to be a major role. Should a deal get done, the Oscar winner’s casting would mark another positive reversal of fortune for the Danny Boyle-helmed project. Deadline revealed last week that it had been put in turnaround by Sony Pictures, to the shock of many in the industry. Universal picked it up Monday. The biopic is based on the Walter Isaacson Steve Jobs 's biography. The script is written by Aaron Sorkin and the film will be produced by Scott Rudin, Christian Colson, Guymon Casady and Mark Gordon. The biopic cast is still not full. And now the movie will be run by Universal Studios, as it was dropped by Sony Pictures last week. One of the reason was that the Jobs film has suffered a number of setbacks. Both director David Fincher and Bale have declined to take place after being attached. And finally Sony dropped the project after two years in development. One rumors source suggest that Portman’s role could play the role of Lisa Brennan, daughter of Steve Jobs. It would be reasonable to expect that Natalie's role in the biopic should be a large one, considering that Portman has starred in many popular films. It obvious that Portman is too old for the Lisa role. But she could play Apple’s VP or PR, Katie Cotton's role. This woman at all Apple events was attached to Steve Jobs’ side. Starring Natalie Portman in Steve Jobs biopic would be a huge get for the movie. A number of male superstars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Fassbender, Seth Rogen have been rumored to join the project, but Natalie Portman is one of the first actresses in talks to get role in the movie.
