The iOS 8 – iOS 8.1 jailbreak Pangu tool is now followed by iOS 8 Cydia release. Saurik has updated his application which can be manually installed on jailbroken devices. The tool from Pangu team right now can jailbreak only users with Windows PC. Cydia for iOS 8 also works for iOS 8.0.1, 8.0.2 and 8.1. This jailbreak utility supports iPhones starting with iPhone 4S, iPads starting with iPad 2, and iPod touch 5G. Since the jailbreak release wasn’t expected, Jay Freeman who had developed Cydia didn’t have a chance to update his program in time. Still he was pretty fast in launching this Cydia iOS 8 download which also supports iOS 8.1 operating system. You can get the .deb file directly from Saurik’s site [apt.saurik.com] but keep in mind that you have to install Cydia on iOS 8 on your own because it doesn’t install automatically with Pangu jailbreak yet. If you are afraid to perform manual installation you can wait till Pangu hackers release an update with automatic Cydia in it. This should happen soon because Saurik sent them his Cydia installation package. What do you think about this? Are you excited about iOS 8 jailbreak? Will you jailbreak right now and install Cydia manually or wait for Pangu team to present the next update for the untether jailbreak tool?
