AntiSec hackers team argues that they published more than a million unique Apple device's IDs (UDID), hacked from the FBI. Hackers have reported that the amount they were able to get from the Federal Bureau of Security more than 12 million user names, device names, phone numbers and addresses. Apple uses UDID numbers to identify and control iPhones and the other gadgets. Cyber-criminals are released only part of the information. At their disposal is a text file of about 90 MB, which includes the personal information of the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users: UDID, IDs APNS (push-notification), etc. In the second week of March 2012 Laptop Dell Vostro, which was used by special agent Christopher K. Sienglom, has been hacked by using Java vulnerabilities AtomicReferenceArray. As a result, some of the files have been downloaded from the Desktop folder, one of which was called "NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv". And you can see it in pastebin hackers' source. This file contains data of 12,367,232 iOS devices, including Apple UDID, user names, device names, device type, location and so on. No other file in the same folder does not explain why this list may be used. Hackers got Apple UDID to draw attention to the fact that the FBI uses information to spy on users. If the information received from AntiSec accurate, you can see NCFTA in the file name which can be a list of user data that can be related to a non-profit organization dedicated to cyber-crime. AntiSec hackers declined to comment on that as long as the one requirement would be fulfilled - Gawker staff should dress in packs.? It is difficult to predict what result will be for AntiSec after this Apple UDID hack and what FBI will do. However, in theory, advertising and statistical services can use the data to organize mass mailings and analytical studies. UDID though uniquely identifies the iPhone and iPad, but it is not easy to access it. Also I must say that if you want to find out if your Apple UDID is one of hacked by AntiSec you can't do it because hackers didn't disclose this information.
