There were lots of fake jailbreak tools like FastRa1n, EasyRa1n, FastSn0w or iShatter recently. They were fooling people about untethered iOS 5.1 jailbreak. But recently there appeared one more player on the field of fakes - Antid0te untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1. It was i0n1c's project at the beginning. It's main function was adding ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization) to a jailbroken iPhone to keep it more secure. The project didn't succeed but some people try to use its name to sell fake jailbreaks. That's what i0n1c said in his twitter today: Antid0te Untethered Jailbreak 1
Someone is bruteforcing antid0te.com to find the iOS 5.1 untether-nice try.
Antid0te Untethered Jailbreak
Oh I just read that some scammer are selling an antid0te jailbreaking tool for iPad 3 and iOS 5.1 for 30 USD and seems some fall for it.
The first tweet is actually very interesting because the reasons of bruteforcing ion1c's site still remain unknown. Anyway, they have nothing to do with jailbreaking. In the second tweet Stefan Esser warns us from buying fake antid0te untethered jailbreak. So we can be sure that he has nothing in common with those scam offers which were invading the internet for three weeks already. Guys behind fake antid0te untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1 offer the solution for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G. There are versions for Windows (Antid0te _v5.1.exe) and Mac (Antid0te _v5.1.pkg). Some guys also sell iShatter  for $19.99 and some of them even ask you to complete the survey to get your untethered iOS 5.1 jailbreak. You can remember the April 1 joke called AprilRa1n that claimed to be an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1. iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users who are waiting for iOS 5.1 untethered  jailbreak should be very careful all of those fake offers which claim they can give you jailbreak for a small reward. Do you ever remember hackers to ask someone to pay for jailbreaks. Some donations or assistance - probably, fixed price for jailbreak - never. Be cautious with those fakers.
