According to the The Austin Business Journal, Apple has issued the deal to buy three plots of land adjacent to their campus in the capital city of Texas Austin. iPhone and iPad producer first opened an office in Texas in 2004, since then the number of its staff had grown to 3500 people. In the next 10 years, Apple is going to create in another 3600 jobs in the areas of sales, after-sales service and accounting. It is reported that this week, Apple bought the land to expand the campus in Austin.
"It’s unknown how much Apple paid for the land or how many acres it bought, but officials at two real estate brokerages, which did not want to be identified, confirmed that the long awaited deal had closed."
Texas Governor Rick Perry announced plans for Apple to expand its campus in the town of Austin in March of this year. He stated that the California giant will invest $304 million bucks in the construction of a new office. According to the governor, Cupertino company will get the project about $ 21 million funding from the state fund, are also possible tax advantages if Apple buy land in Austine.
