Good news for those who love changing the interface of the iOS Springboard - Dashboard X 2.0 is ready for download! The original Dashboard X tweak was really groundbreaking because it allowed to have widgets on your iPad's or iPhone's homescreen and that was really cool. However the first version had some issues and problems. For instance when you switched the iPad from landscape to portrait and backwards the widgets kinda jumped around and the 2.0 version of the Cydia tweak fixes it.

Dashboard X 2.0 Is Ready For Download

The program has the totally new interface and you can switch the widgets both in landscape and portrait mode. The whole new widget menu looks more sleeker and includes new entries. Just like the previous version of Dashboard X the 2.0 version allows you to easily place the widget on the desktop and drag it anywhere you like but now you can pinch to zoom in. Simply hold the widget with two fingers and adjust its size as you want to fit the specific areas on your homescreen. The one thing that worked not that well on the previous version of the Dashboard X tweak was the change of landscape-portrait orientation. If you switched between them the widgets "broke". Now you can adjust the personal position of each add-on on the SpringBoard for both landscape and portrait modes. Those will auto-adjust depending on which orientation you are currently using. Another new thing  about Dashboard X 2.0 is the "Replace Background" option. If it's turned on, it changes the background color and shade under the specific widget making it more matte. If switched off, the background under the widget will be clearly visible. The new version is the complete overhaul of what we saw in the first version of Dashboard X compared to 2.0 version. The options are almost the same but the performance got hundred times better and the whole app is more stable right now.
