Apple officially announced that its iDevice users can finally download iOS 8.2 ipsw and install this latest version of its mobile firmware for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The company mentioned the update along with its latest Apple Watch product introduced at ‘Spring Forward’ media event on March 9. Users who are impatient can already download iOS 8.2 and upgrade right away. What models and gadgets does it support? There are no secrets here. Just like any other version of iOS 8 line it supports all iPads except the original tablet, iPad Air and iPad mini, iPod touch 5G and iPhone 6 Plus and earlier models down to iPhone 4S. If you have iPhone 4 or an older smartphone you cannot update. This firmware supports Apple Watch wearable however customers can order and get their hands on this device only on April 10.

How to Update to iOS 8.2

It is possible to install the operating system through OTA update. Here is how to do this: Step 1. Go to Settings on your Apple mobile device. Step 2. Select General menu. Step 3.
