More awesome news from pod2g's official Twitter account. He'd just managed to make iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak available for iPod 3G and iPhone 3GS owners. As you know right now he is working very hard to bring this tool to life and it's planned to be released during HITB 2012 in Amsterdam which will take place Monday till Friday next week. Below follows the full list of  iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak supported devices and the original tweet. Here is the list of devices that are known to work for sure :

• iPhone 4
• iPhone 4S
• iPad 1
• iPad 2 Wifi
• iPad 3 Wifi
• iPad 3 CDMA
• iPod 3G
• iPod 4G

Here is the list of devices that won’t be supported :

• AppleTV 3

Remains :

• iPhone 3Gs
• iPad 2 GSM
• iPad 2 CDMA
• iPad 2 Wifi, R2
• iPad 3 CDMA
• iPad 3 Global
• AppleTV 2

The list of unsupported devices becomes smaller and smaller every day and that's very good. The only unsupported device from the list is AppleTV 3 but honestly that's the minority. More important is the fact that iPhone 3GS joined the list of jailbreakable devices along with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPads. Update: Now you are able to perform untethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak using Absinthe 2.0!
