And again, we can see another rumor from a Foxconn member of staff. During the last several years, Foxconn has become quite an important force when considering iPhone 5 rumors. Their rumors have been both crazy as well as being very correct at certain times. In any case, they are the ones who accurately brought up rumors that said that October 2011 is going to be a month when the iPhone 4S, rather than the iPhone 5, will be released. Now, let's see what they have to say about the Apple iPhone 5 release in June, 2012, the next gen iPhone. This current year, a new iPhone 5 looks set to hit. The main question now is when the device will be released: this fall or this summer. Just a month ago a Japanese TV crew shot an interview with a Foxconn employer, who said that the new iPhone 5 would be out in June of this year. iPhone 5 release South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper asks to differ. In accordance with a recently posted article, the newspaper asked the head of human resources at Foxconn's Taiyuan factory about the release date of iPhone 5. The head of human resources obviously told the newspaper
We just got the order. It [the release] will be around October.
The initial Japanese media's report found out that there were a great number of Foxconn hiring notices all over Taiyuan. The Foxconn plant that will apparently build the iPhone 5 is situated there. The Maeil Business Newspaper reporter phoned the Foxconn plant in Taiyuan, and spoke to the H&R head. Here is what the head of human resources told the newspaper:
Yes, it's true we are hiring a large number of workers.
After that, the news reporter asked about the release date of iPhone 5. As it was mentioned before, the Foxconn member of staff said that the company had just received the order, and the iPhone 5 date of release would be "around October". The Maeil Business Newspaper followed up with Foxconn's head of publicity. The newspaper, however, was told that the PR head was "on vacation" and not available for comment.
