As talking about iPhone 5 then I can tell you that it will have big popularity among Apple fans. The main reason is new LTE wireless technology in iPhone 5. This is the most importing thing that interests people in future iPhone. Also there will be the possibility to upgrade your old gadget to 4G. Which means that it is not only for iPhone 5 so you won't need to buy new iPhone. With so many carriers every year people are hesitating what carrier to choose. So the most intriguing thing in iPhone 5 is support of  LTE network, because it is very fast service and I'm sure that it will be the main reason to buy iPhone 5. Also there is news that Apple plans to have their own network but it will be in a future. However as talking about purchases I can tell you that from 70% to 40% of people who where asked about that said that they would definitely buy iPhone 5. And 48% of them said that they had already pre-odered it. This information came from the poll made by PCWorld and Macworld. Most of asked people that had said that they would buy iPhone 5 also said that they would choose AT&T (41%) and Verizon (29%). Also 10% of asked users said that they were likely to switch carriers in the next year. As talking about the popularity of networks among gadget's users I can give you that numbers:

• AT&T - 24%
• T-Mobile - 20%
• Sprint - 19%
• Verizon - 15%

However as taking about iPhone users, they mostly choose Verizon. As I said before there will be also the chance to update your old gadget to 4G. You see that there is no iPhone 5 on sale yet and people make plans to buy it. I can surely tell you that iPhone 5 will bring a lot of purchase for Apple.And don't forget about its amazing new features!
