Today it was reported that Apple is still preparing for the iPad Mini release date in 2012, somewhere around fall. Later, a couple of very reputable sources also confirmed that the 7-inch tablet will be born. Bloomberg resource confirms the fact that Apple really is planning to release a cheap 7-inch iPad in October. The device does not get a Retina display and its resolution is "only" 1024x768. According to information from Bloomberg, the cost of new items will be about $ 200, in order to compete with Google Nexus 7 and being prepared for Kindle Fire 2. Almost simultaneously with Bloomberg, company called DisplaySearch NPD also shared the information that Apple really is preparing to release iPad Mini. Richard Shim in an interview with CNet says:
For the 7.85-inch panel, there's a business plan for it, there's a mass production target for it. And we know that it's for Apple
The DisplaySearch NPD company is in contact with companies from the "delivery system" and was informed that the production of these screens is inevitable: "Everything is ready. We know the product lines, and we know how many of these panels will be made from sheets of glass." Richard Shim added that this information is not accurate for as long as the production of screens will not be started because "this information from the supply chain, and the very nature of all deliveries are subject to change." It should be noted that Bloomberg, and DisplaySearch NPD are very reliable sources of rumors concerning the Apple company. Add here the fact that a respected site iMore shared information about what iPad Mini is really destined to be released within few months. In addition, such sources as the DigiTimes and even Wall Street Journal had previously confirmed plans to release a smaller version of the Apple iPad, as well as this morning there were some details about what the screen will be installed in the iPad Mini, and the expected prices for novelty. What do you think, you have enough of this information in order to take seriously the rumors about the appearance iPad Mini and its release date in 2012?
