It is sorry to say but Apple shut down iWork.com service on July 31 as well as remove all stored documents and there is no way out. Three years we have been enjoying a beta service from Apple but I think it is iCloud time now. Back in 2009 Apple had released iWork.com beta service that allowed users to upload, view and share documents and files online with others. Every user could download documents and even leave comments on every of them. And everything was fine till today. Latest Apple news claimed that the Cupertino company plan to close iWork.com and it is not a brake or joke. Apple sent an email to every user where was told that iWork was going to be closed 0n July 31. Also it asked to download all stored files till 06.31 because the company would delete them too. Better look at the picture below to read that email from Apple: If you are iWork user check out your email which you took for signing up. And you will see that is not a joke and Apple shut down iWork.com for real. For me it is not surprising that Apple will do that. Don't forget about iCloud service. The Cupertino company have already made it clear that iCloud was the future. Apple really made clear that cloud service was better than this one. However there is not a word about iWork app in general so it will be still working. It is pity that Apple are doing that. I'm sure that many user addicted to iWork.com and the service that it brings. But you can do nothing because Apple close iWork.com and now you better addict to iCloud and its service. What do you thing about that? Is it good that Apple shut down iWork.com or not?
