Use iTunes Account to Enable iCloud Automatic Downloads on Any iDevice

You have more than one iDevices and when you have found some interesting app or game on App store you think about to have it on all your devices. Here I show you how to enable iCloud automatic downloads in iOS using iTunes account.

It is very comfy to enjoy automatically downloading apps and games, iBooks and music on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch , Mac, Apple TV and even on Windows PC at the same time. But how to do that if you don’t know it.

I had this problem one time. However I almost immediately found solution and enabled iCloud automatic downloads on iPhone, iPad and Macbook. And it’s working. Follow my guide below and you will find out how to do that.

You need to have few things to be done before we start.

Requirements

  • Apple iD (iTunes account) logged into all devices you need to use.
  • Logged iCloud.
  • Internet connection.
  • More then one iDevice.
  • One song or iBook or app on your mind to download

How to Activate iCloud Downloads Automatically

Note: Make sure that you are logged into iCloud and iTunes on Mac with same Apple account as on iPhone or iPad to download apps, songs or other files.

Step 1. Grab your iPhone and go to Settings => Store.

Step 2. If you need to Sign In then do this using the same iTunes account (read the Note above).

Step 3. Now you need to activate iCloud automatic downloads. To do this just Turn On options like:

  • Music
  • Apps
  • Books

Step 3. If you use cellular data turn Cellurar on too. This enable automatic downloads if you are on cellular networks like 3G/4G and WiFi.

Note: There is difference between WiFi and 3G/4G networks because using 3G/4G you can download only file which size isn’t more than 50Mb. However WiFi allows you to download apps, music, games and iBooks which size is even more than 50Mb.

Also I have to say that you can use your iTunes account in iCloud only on 10 devices. So if you want to add another gadget you need to reconnect one of connected iOS devices.

And that’s it. Now you know how to enable iCloud automatic downloads on iOS devices. Agree, it’s really useful. So enjoy downloading different files on your gadget using iTunes account.
