Joshua «p0sixninja» Hill, well-known hacker in the jailbreak clique announced on Twitter about his resignation from the Chronic Dev Team. For many years he was the leader of the p0sixninja hacker group, which produces tools for jailbreaking the iOS. The reason why the developer decided to leave the Chronic Dev Team, is not clear. In May this year p0sixninja attended to a Hack In The Box (HITB) computer security conference with the group of other hackers, during which he presented Absinthe - untethered exploit for iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak on the latest  iPhone and iPad models. About twelve hours ago p0sixninja wrote in his twitter:
I want to put everyone in the fame: I do not have anything to do with the Chronic Dev Team
The hacker did not answer users' questions about the reasons for leaving the group, saying only that "it is not about money." p0sixninja leaves chronic dev team

Note that p0sixninja participated in the development of tools for hacking the operating system iOS for several years. Thanking to him the world has got such hacks as untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak, jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 and exploits to hack the iOS 5.1.1 firmware. The question of whether p0sixninja will continue to develop the jailbreak solutions, remains open. Perhaps the situation will become clear in September when the annual jailbreak conference JailbreakCon will take place. P0sixninja is listed there as a speaker. The posixninja's leave from Chronic Dev Team supports the theory about hackers choice to work on their own, especially when some sort of jailbreaking or unlocking solution. Despite Josh isn't greedy for money, I guess he'd like to get his piece of fame and honor related to his future jailbreaking deeds. How do you think, what are the real reasons for p0sixninja's leave? Let's discuss them in the comments below.
