Browsing Archive April, 2012 Allows to Stream TV on iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch Streaming site provides TV content from all around the world for free. Good news for Apple lovers: it can be viewed right on your iDevice: iPad, iPhone of iPod Touch as well as on all the Android devices.

The only problem about this great TV-site, the chances of staying online are not so high. Even now some countries are unable to view content from any of the available channels. That magic works on computers as well as on Apple’s big three – iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and on Android tablets and phones. Considering some network problems the service should be available in US and UK, not sure about other countries. The service provides smooth buffering with no glitches and a good picture quality along with impressive streaming. Another benefit of the feature is a wide list of channels available. There are twenty-eight channels available only in US. Here’s a screenshot of US channel menu:

The service was updated not so long ago with Arabic channels such as Al Jazeera and company.

Most probably the iOSLiveTV developers decided to put the service to free access because App Store’s and Google Play’s probable rejection. Besides the app confirmation on the App Store can take up to 6 months. But this step won’t affect site’s lifetime and it will be probably short anyway.

You should definitely check the iOSLiveTV website regardless of your location. It might still work even if you’re outside the US or UK (there’s no possibility to check every country). Make it as soon as you can because it could be available online only for a short time and it would be such a waste to miss the gorgeous opportunity to watch TV on your mobile device without any additional apps and completely for free.

And yes, the service is kinda NSFW as it contains XXX menu under which some of the most popular adult resources are listed.

Have you successfully streamed any of those channels? Let us know in the comments below.

SAM Unlock is Not Working Anymore

Just a few hours after our post about MucleNerd’s message to hurry up with SAM unlock before it’s too late, messages about SAM unlock is not working anymore started to appear. Probably Apple began to close the unlocking possibility by updating their activation servers security.

pod2g Freezes iOS 5.1 Untethered Jailbreak Release

Yesterday pod2g posted a poll with question considering iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak release “Shall we hold off the jailbreak for iOS 6?”. The feedback is pretty amazing. Right now the voice count comes close to 79k. There’s still 5 days left to the end of the poll but probably hacker already spotted the final decision.

iOS 5.1 Untethered Jailbreak Release 1

The famous hacker posted the poll for a few reasons. The first (and probably the main) is that he already has all the parts needed to execute the public jailbreak but he still needs some time to get things working. The second reason is upcoming iOS 6 release. Of course if he will release this iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak Apple will most definitely close that vulnerability in upcoming iOS. That means that by iOS 6 release pod2g, Chronic Dev Team and iPhone Dev Team working on jailbreak should start the process all over again. That’s not very good option frankly speaking as french hacker doesn’t have much time for developing new solution.

Considering that WWDC will take place on June 11, we have to wait only 6 weeks till the new iOS goes to the public. And the possibility to get it jailbroken the very next day is simply priceless. Since iOS 5.1 is a minor upgrade of iOS 5.0.1 won’t it be better to wait for an essential upgrade.

That’s what audience thinks about iOS 5.1 Untethered jailbreak release:

iOS 5.1 Untethered Jailbreak Release

57% of people think that exploit should be released immediately and 40% think the jailbreak should be kept for iOS 6. Hackers have their own opinions on what’s going on. That’s what i0n1c and p0sixninja think about it:

Stefan Esser @i0n1c
That poll just made my day. So @pod2g thinks about keeping his JB back. A wise decision.

Joshua Hill @p0sixninja
If you’re voting in @pod2g ‘s poll, know 6.0 beta will likely last for 3 months like previous betas

Stefan Esser @i0n1c
BTW: Why that JB iOS 6 poll? Was the iOS 6 beta released?

Stefan Esser supports pod2g’s decision to keep jailbreak for iOS 6. He and Joshua Hill also consider iOS 6 beta to be available for testing for about three months.

Update: Download Absinthe 2.0 and perform untethered jailbreak!

What do you think about it? Should pod2g keep the jailbreak or release it in the nearest future. And what are your thoughts about iOS 6 possible features? Let us know in the comment section below.

CloseEnhancer Cydia App

What is CloseEnhancer Cydia app? This is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to close your apps in various ways. It replaces boring built-in app closing method delivered by native iOS. Are you bored of double-tapping the Home button, then holding your finger on one of the app running in the background waiting for it to wiggle? Then CloseEnhancer Cydia app is just for you.
