Since a lot of people share similar stories, we want to help a bit. Here is what you can try to do in case you experience the problems mentioned above. Pay attention at the features you have enabled on your iPhone / iPad. Maybe if you disable some of them, the life of your battery will last longer even on the newest firmware.

Try to restore your gadget. Users who don’t use Wi-Fi should disable this option. The same thing can be done by folks who don’t use Bluetooth, etc. If the area where you live has poor LTE coverage, you might like to turn this feature off to save iOS 6.1.3 battery life.

But as for me the best wait to fix battery drain is to downgrade iOS 6.1.3 using iFaith and enjoy untethered jailbreak as well.

Firmware is different to operating System (IOS) . 6.1.3 is a OS update not a firmware update. It is people who are on the same firmware that are probably most likely experiencing the same issue when combined with the same OS version

I have an iphone 4s with iOS6.1.3 running. The battery life drains off very fast. I tried disabling 3G and data push and many methods I read on the internet but still I see there is no change. Could anyone give a solution that can work. Im not an expert on these gadgets but can try out something.

I have never had battery issues on 4s, including on IOS 6.1.3 until AT&T mandatory software update with the silly public alerts. You can turn two of them off but not the presidential alerts. Thanks to AT&T & FCC I have to plug my phone in anytime possible during the day & all night or it will be dead in the morning & no wake up alarm.
